MSc./BSc.: Possibilities and consequences of biofuel production in the Nordic region
There is both interest and controversy regarding the use of land for the cultivation of biofuels.
The Nordic countries are perhaps best placed to consider this option because of low population density and large areas for cultivation.
The project will examine a series of scenarios for biofuel production and utilisation and try to estimate the effects of such developments on ecosystem services in several areas in the Nordic and Baltic area.
